summer

I am not very good at posting regularly so I just wanted to update you on our last month and a half. We've adjusted to a new schedule since Brandon has been going to sleep at 9 or 9:30 and waking up at 4 or 4:30 to get to start work at 6 in park city. Brandon's has been working very hard at his internship and really likes it. I've been working part-time at Hollister since I still haven't found anything else but I have been getting more hours so that's good. Brandon and I have had lots of fun too going to the driving range, mini golfing, going out to eat, and watching movies.
June was a pretty exciting month, we went to Hawaii with my family, celebrated my 21st birthday, and then we celebrated our first anniversary. For my birthday we shopped for a few hours and ate dinner at Tucanos. Our anniversary was on a sunday so we didn't do a whole lot but Brandon surprised me with a sweet romantic candlelit dinner and gave me a single rose for our first year of marriage and we danced to our wedding song. :)
A few weeks ago we went on a ward campout for a night at blackhawk campground. It was really fun, we had a bbq, played games, played volleyball, and had smorse. It was our first camping experience together and one night was good enough for me but of course Brandon wants to go on longer campouts. We even had a blowup mattress but I still didn't sleep that well.
This last weekend wasn't too exciting because I got my wisdom teeth out on Friday. It wasn't that bad because I didn't swell up like at all but my teeth still kinda ache and it stinks not being able to eat real food. Brandon and I just stayed home and watched several movies. Also the bad part is the gross taste in your mouth of blood and stuff. It was weird getting the laughing gas since I'd never gotten it before but they put the iv in me and I breathed in and the next thing I knew I was in our truck on the way home. Hopefully my mouth will heal all the way soon!

  1. love the update. I wish I had laughing gas - I asked for it, but they wouldn't give it to me.
